Waterford

Blackwater Eco Pods

I’ve stayed here and although they are small pods they are in the middle of the town and great location for exploring the Blackwater /River- go on the eco tour and learn all about the area

These cozy, eco-friendly wooden eco pods can comfortably accommodate up to four adults or a family of five people. Built using solid treated timber, they are designed to be comfortable in both hot and cold conditions; at night-time, the insulation in the walls means it never feels cold, while on a hot summer’s day, a foil layer inserted beneath the roof structure, keeps it nice and cool. Perfect for kids and adults alike!

Blackwater Eco Pods

Though small in stature, the eco pods are deceptively spacious and are designed to provide you with life’s essentials during your break away. Each pod is equipped with a small kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a large L-shaped corner sofa, one double bed, and a single sofa bed. There are also plenty of duvets and blankets supplied and a table and chairs which are perfect for lunch or a board game, outside or in.

Outside, each pod has its own decking area (perfect for chilling out in the sunshine with a good book and a nice glass of wine) to the front. You’ll also have your very own barbeque, giving you complete control over when to cook, so you never have to wait for a BBQ to become free!

Prices €120 per night for up to 4 people
