Clare Island Lighthouse
Clare Lighthouse is a unique property and member of Ireland’s Blue Book. https://www.clareislandlighthouse.com/
They’ve had several “micro” weddings at the lighthouse and one booked for 2021 . Its very low key with no bells and whistles! So 10 people max as we only have 5 rooms. A minimum 2 night stay and the usual BB and dinner both evenings. We can tailor the menu for the wedding party. They are usually with a celebrant. We have a terrific local celebrant Tricia Hudson of wildatlanticceremonies.ie. Weather permitting they generally opt to have the ceremony outside looking across the sea to Achill Island and Boston beyond . The approx cost for 10 people x 2 nights BB/dinner, drink before and after meal plus a bottle of house wine each evening per room €6500. Of course there’s always bubbly …..
It’s really lovely because it’s nice and relaxed and they have the whole lighthouse to themselves for 2 whole days and of course amazing venue for the photographs.
